Depart Australia on your international flight to the stimulating city of Cairo, Egypt – a vital part of the Holy Land, rich with medieval splendour, graceful minarets and wonderful ancient bazaars. Begin this unique and personal tour, following in the footsteps of Jesus.

ARRIVE IN CAIRO
Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, you will be met and assisted by our Cairo office representative and transferred to Cairo Hotel to freshen up before a dinner cruise on the majestic Nile River with traditional Egyptian entertainment. | D |

CAIRO
Our full day excursion begins with the most important repository of Egyptian antiquities, the Egyptian Museum, before we visit the mysterious Sphinx and the incredible Pyramids with their magnificent temples and glorious tombs. We’ll have a superb lunch close to the Pyramids at the famous Fel Fella restaurant. Later in the day we’ll ride out on camels to a hill where we can get a magnificent sunset shot of the three Pyramids. On our return, we will experience the taste of Egypt under the stars at an authentic El Ezba restaurant. | B | L | D |

CAIRO
Enjoy the spectacular countryside as we travel to the Monastery of Al Muharraq at Mount Qussam. This is said to be where the Holy Family stayed for about 6 months and where the angel visited Joseph and told him to return to Israel. A special lunch will be provided at the Monastery before our return. After dinner at the Cairo Sheraton Hotel we can relax or take an optional private tour of the city with one of our guides. | B | L | D |

CAIRO
We spend this day at Maadi on the meandering Nile River, where Joseph, Mary and their baby Jesus boarded the felucca (sailing boat) which took them towards southern Egypt. After a short sail in a felucca we’ll eat tantalising traditional Egyptian food in one of the best local restaurants. In the afternoon we will visit the churches in Old Cairo where the Holy Family sheltered when they fled Israel to escape Herod’s purge of male Jewish babies, and take a tour to one of the oldest markets in the world, “Khan El Khalili bazaar”. | B | L | D |

CAIRO | JERUSALEM
This morning we will fly from Cairo to Tel Aviv to start the magnificent Israel where Jesus was born. Upon arrival to airport you will be met and assisted by our Israel office representative and transferred to Jerusalem. Overnight: Jerusalem

JERUSALEM - NEW CITY
Start with a spectacular view of Jerusalem from Mount Scopus, and then onto the Garden of Gethsemane. Visit the tomb of King David and the Room of the Last Supper on Mount Zion. See the famous Dead Sea Scrolls at the Shrine of the Book. Experience a moving visit to the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial. See the Marc Chagall stained glass windows at the Hadassah medical center, and visit Ein Karem where John the Baptist was born.

JERUSALEM -OLD CITY AND BETHLEHEM
Visit the Western Wall and the Temple Mount (subject to security clearance). Explore the colourful bazaars, and walk the Via Dolorosa (Stations of the Cross) until the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Continue to Bethlehem (subject to security clearance) to visit Rachel’s Tomb and the Church of the Nativity.

SEA OF GALILEE
Depart Jerusalem via Jericho (subject to security clearance), the oldest city in the world. Explore the excavations of the beautiful Roman City of Beit Shean. Proceed to Tiberias, and drive along the shores of the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum to visit the ruins of the ancient synagogue.
Overnight: Galilee Kibbutz hotel.

UPPER GALILEE
Drive to Safed – city of Mystical Judaism. Explore Caesari of Philippi at the Banias Springs. Ascend the Golan Heights and from Mt. Bental, peer deep into Syria and the ghost town of Kuneitra. Continue onto Nazareth and the Church of Annunciation.
Overnight: Galilee Kibbutz hotel.

COASTAL PLAIN Depart for Akko (Acre) to explore the Knights’ Halls and the secret Crusader tunnels, then to Haifa to view the magnificent Bahai gardens from atop Mount Carmel. Stop at Caesarea, to visit the Roman Theatre and the Crusader Fortress.

TEL AVIV | JORDAN | JERASH
After breakfast you will start your Jordan extension by driving to Sheik Hussein Bridge for border crossing procedures to enter Jordan. Explore Jerash, the ancient Roman city of the Decapolis. Visit the Citadel and Roman Amphitheater on a panoramic city tour of Amman.

PETRA
After an early breakfast, leave the hotel and travel along the Desert Highway on the road to Petra. Enjoy a spectacular full day tour exploring the rose-red city of Petra.Enjoy a short horse ride, and then travel on foot through the awesome ‘SIQ’ valley. Visit the Treasury, and explore hundreds of buildings, tombs, temples, and a 3,000-seat theater from the first-century AD. After the visit depart for Amman.

KINGS WAY See the intricate ancient Mosaic map of the Holy Land at Madaba. Visit Mt. Nebo where Moses viewed the promised land before his passing. Explore the remains of the Byzantine Church with a mosaic floor, and from a platform in front of the church enjoy a breathtaking view across the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
