Please read these carefully as
they are the only conditions
under which bookings are accepted
by Egypt Reservation Centre.
Comprehensive holiday planning
is recommended prior to commencing
the booking process, with due
regard to payment and fee schedules
involved.
Prices:
Egypt Reservation Center reserves the right to vary the published prices
due to currency exchange fluctuations or alterations in airfare, hotel
or tour prices. The actual price at all times will be advised from Egypt
Reservation Centre system.
Payment Schedule: Deposits: A non-refundable deposit
of 10% per person is required
to secure all confirmed bookings.
This payment to be received
by Egypt Reservation Centre
within 7 days of booking
confirmation. This deposit
may be a larger proportion
of the purchase price as
required by specific suppliers,
and they will be advised
at the time of booking.
Full
Payment: Full payment is
required no later than 45 days
prior to the date of departure.
Full payment is required immediately
on confirmation of all bookings
taken less than 45 days to departure
date. Full payment may be requested
outside of 45 days from departure
as required by specific suppliers,
and they will advised at the
time of booking. Failure to meet
these payment requirements can
result in cancellation of the
booking with out further notice,
and appropriate cancellation
charges applied.
Short
Duration Land only bookings:
A service fee of $33 per file
applies for hotel reservations
or tours of less than 4 nights
duration.
Refunds: No refund is available
for cancellations after holiday
package has commenced or in respect
of any tours, accommodation,
meals or any other services not
utilisied.
Service Fees: Late
booking Fee: Bookings made
inside 7 days of departure
will attract a fee of $33
per booking, for additional
servicing. Courier fees to
expedite delivery and extraordinary
international telephone calls
may also be charged. The
$33 fee is required in advance
of securing the booking and
can be taken on credit card.
Amendment
Fee: Changes requested
to confirmed bookings, will attract
a fee of $33 per time. If documents
have been issued, a $55 fee per
file will be charged, in addition
to all charges levied by airlines,
hotels or ground operators.
Cancellation
Fee: Any cancellation
should be in writing. Cancellation
fee applies. The deposit is not
refundable. Once full payment
has been received, cancellation
made 15-45 days prior to departure,
50% of full price will be refunded.
No refund will be made for cancellation
made within 15 days of departure,
or after the tour has commenced.
Any additional fees may be charged
by your travel agent.
Pre-departure contact
A contact address/telephone number
must be advised to your travel
agent for the period 48 hours
prior to departure in the
event of last minute changes.
Travel Insurance:
Travel Insurance is an essential
part of a travel Itinerary.
Comprehensive Travel Insurance
taken at the time of booking
can protect against the booking,
the cancellation fees involved,
and high medical costs worldwide.
Health and Immigration:
Passenger should familiarise
themselves with health, vaccination
or visa requirements applicable
in the countries they intend
visiting. Passengers will
be responsible for all exits,
entry, health and other documents
required by the laws of the
country visited or even transited.
Please note that the responsibility
for passport and visa requirements
are not those of Egypt Reservation
Centre or that of your travel
agent and they are not responsible
for any loss or expense due
to passengers failures to
comply with the above. Passports
must be valid for a minimum
of 6 months
after departure from most countries.
Travel & accommodation:
Egypt Reservation Centre is not itself an hotelier nor do we own an aircraft or hotels. The
flights, other travel and hotel accommodation are provided by Suppliers on
their own conditions.. It is important to note that Egypt Reservation Centre is
an agent only for the suppliers and is not the provider of these services
and has taken all reasonable care and skill when selecting suppliers
and booking these services.
Booking Arrangements:
All bookings are to be made through
a fully licensed travel agent
and the person affecting
a booking shall be deemed
to have accepted the booking
conditions on behalf of all
persons named in the booking.
All communications from Egypt
Reservation Centre will be
with the travel agent. The
travel agent shall, on receipt
of tour monies, hold these
monies for every person named
in the booking, until the
booking is confirmed at which
time, those monies shall
be promptly remitted by you
travel agent to Egypt Reservation
Centre. All such monies received
are, as required by law,
deposited on your behalf
into a trust account, maintained
with bankers. It is acknowledged
that we, Egypt Reservation
Centre are entitled to retain
any interests earned on such
monies and that monies paid
to Egypt Reservation Centre,
either directly or through
the travel agent, whether
by way of deposit or otherwise
in respect of your booking
may be dispersed as and when
we deem fit to any of the
suppliers or in payment of
any services provided. Payment
of such monies to Egypt Reservation
Centre via your travel agent
shall be deemed a direction
to us to disburse or apply
such monies as aforesaid.
Law of contract:
The contract is governed in all
respects by the law of the
state of New South Wales
and any action and any legal
action arising under the
contract shall be litigated
only in the appropriate court
having jurisdiction in the
state except that certain
consumer claims may be bought
before the Consumer Claims
Tribunal having jurisdiction
in respect thereof in New
South Wales or similar Tribunals
in other states or territories.
Our Responsibility:
Egypt Reservation Centre endeavours
to do the best to make sure
your arrangements are satisfactory.
However they are not responsible
for any loss, damage, injury,
death, delay, expense, inconvenience
or loss of enjoyment resulting
directly or indirectly from
any act, negligence, default
or omission on the part of
any person or corporation
arising from any event beyond
our control.
When Egypt Reservation Centre
make bookings with the suppliers
of travel, entertainment and
accommodation facilities or services
(the ‘suppliers’)
they are acting as agents only
and are not acting as the supplier
of such services. The provision
of those services or facilities
is subject to the terms and conditions
of the contract with the supplier
and Egypt Reservation Centre
will advise such terms and conditions,
and the booking will be subject
to them.
The standards of accommodation
and other services are based
on various factors, which are
generally accepted indicative
of a certain class. However,
Egypt Reservation Centre does
not respond or guarantee the
standard, class or fitness for
purchase if the accommodation
or service. Egypt Reservation
Centre does not accept any liability
of whatever nature or the acts,
omissions or default, whether
negligent or otherwise, of those
airlines, coach operators, shipping
companies, hoteliers or other
persons providing services in
conjunction with your holiday.
Egypt Reservation Centre do not
accept liability in contract
or in tort (actionable wrong)
for any injury, death, damage,
loss, delay, additional expense
or inconvenience caused directly
or indirectly by force majeure
or other events which are beyond
our control. This includes war,
civil disturbance, fire, floods,
unusually severe weather, acts
of God, acts of Government, or
any other authorities, accidents
to or failure of equipment or
industrial action (whether or
not involving our employees and
even though such action may be
settled by acceding to demands
of a labour group).
Consumer claims:
All claims should be lodged in writing to your travel agent within 30 days
or your return to Australia, with supporting documentation.
