Day 1
CAIRO Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by our Cairo office representative and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2
CAIRO Breakfast at hotel. Full day tour to the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus, one of the ancient Seven Wonders of the World, and the Great Sphinx of Giza which dates from the time of Chephren (2620BC).Memphis which served as the capital of upper and lower Egypt some 5000 years ago during the first dynasty and Sakkara, one of the most exiting historical and archaeological areas in Egypt. | B | L |
Day 3
CAIRO After breakfast, full day tour to the Egyptian Museum, the most important depository of Egyptian antiquities anywhere in the world, and the Citadel which was the nerve center of Egypt for almost 700 years with its Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali. Then have a walk through the famous bazaars of Khan El Khalili. | B | L |
Day 4
CAIRO | LUXOR After an early breakfast transfer to the Cairo Airport to board your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, you will be met by our staff and transferred to your Luxor hotel. Afternoon visit to the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Overnight at hotel. | B |
Day 5
LUXOR Visit the West Bank that includes the Valley of the Kings and Queens, the Necropolis of Thebes, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the two colossi of Memnon. Back to the hotel and overnight. | B |
Day 6
LUXOR | CAIRO Morning at leisure in Luxor, then transfer to the Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. | B |
Day 7
CAIRO After breakfast, visit the Pharaonic village, covering an area of nearly 150,000 square metres. It is built entirely in the ancient Egyptian style and inhabited by some 300 Egyptians living in an ancient Egyptian atmosphere. All the agricultural and industrial activities are practised with the same style of tools and implements conserved in the Egyptian museum. You will also visit the house of an ordinary peasant and the villa of a nobleman, fully equipped with furniture of that time. Experience the Sound & Light show at the Pyramids. | B |
Day 8
CAIRO Breakfast at hotel. Day at leisure until your transfer to the airport for your final departure. | B | (Or continue your Egyptian experience with one of our OPTIONAL extension tours)
