HALF DAY TO THE PHARAONIC VILLAGE - $110 The Pharaonic village, covering an area of nearly 150,000 square meters, is built entirely in the ancient Egyptian style. It is inhabited by some 300 Egyptians living in an Egyptian atmosphere and practicing all the agricultural and industrial activities with the same tools and implements conserved in the Egyptian museum. You will also visit the house of an ordinary peasant and the villa of a nobleman fully equipped with furniture of that time. To complete the tour, a temple is visited with its sacred lake and the priests living quarters.

Cairo. See old Cairo and the lighted minarets, memorial of the unknown solder, the zoo and Cairo's oldest university. Try shopping at one of the local shopping malls and end with a drink at one of the local cafés on the high Mokattam hills. You can even try one of the local drinks if you dare!
FELUCCA RIDE -$25 Enjoy a romantic sunset on board a traditional felucca. Sail around the Elephantine botanical gardens and view the Agha Khan Mausoleum.
ABU SIMBEL (By air) - $320 An Egypt Air organized tour (except for groups) to Abu Simbel Temples: The first and largest of the temples is dedicated to the sun god Ra-Harakhte, while the second, which is smaller and a few metres to the north, was dedicated by Ramses II to his beautiful wife, Nefertari, to be worshipped together with other deities.
These two temples attracted world-wide attention when they were threatened with inundation by the waters of the High Dam. In response to an appeal by the Arab Republic of Egypt, UNESCO, in 1959, initiated an international donations campaign to save the monuments of Nubia, the relics of the oldest human civilization. The salvage of the Abu Simbel temples began in 1963 and cost some 36 million dollars. The Abu Simbel temples were relocated to the plateau to greet the sunrise every morning.
